I am a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer based out of the Blue Ash Recreation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  As an intern in college I had the privilege of working with IndyCar racing drivers at PitFit in Indianapolis and at Blue Ash I currently specialize in personal training for men, women and children of all ages.  I am a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and I enjoy working with women throughout their pregnancy as well as afterwards to keep them strong and healthy. I also teach Cardio Core, and Circuit Training classes and run short-term fitness boot camps.

Personal fitness and athletics have always played an important part in my life from my time in youth sports to my four years on the NKU Women’s Soccer and Track teams.  When I am not in the gym you can usually find me in the kitchen working on a new recipe, planning new fitness routines over a cup of coffee, cruising on a Cincinnati bike trail or walking in the Indiana woods with my husband Sam and Labrador Retriever Lily B.  I am also a huge fan of Formula 1, IndyCar racing and professional soccer.

I am an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer, CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) with a Master of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati. Being healthy and active is not just a phase someone goes through, it is a complete lifestyle change. As a trainer and fitness professional it is my mission to educate, inspire, motivate, and support you on your path to change and maintain your lifestyle. As your trainer I can help you establish realistic, attainable goals as well as act as a resource in order to optimize your results and exercise experience. Consistency, balance, variety, safety, and fun are all incorporated into my exercise programs. My programs stem from a foundation in specific sport training, functional fitness, and rehabilitation. I will help you learn to enjoy exercise and hopefully include it in your new lifestyle.

I really enjoy sports and competition. Soccer is my main sport, but I also enjoy playing a multitude of other sports. When I’m not playing sports I’m usually training for them. I also love fishing, hunting, boating, camping, and the outdoors in general. I’m usually very active, but I do enjoy movies, music, cooking, and reading as well!

"Maggie is the most remarkable trainer I've ever worked with.  She is always positive and encouraging, and convinced me I could set and attain goals greater than I ever expected.  Working with her both individually and in a group class, I got to the best shape of my life and have been able to sustain it."  -Risa Sreden Prince

"In the time I have worked with Maggie I can tell you the workouts have been the best I’ve had! Maggie pushes you and lifts you up at the same time! I have never felt stronger while working out with her! Maggie tailors every single workout to whatever YOU want/need! She is positive, continuously getting you through each workout with praise and reassurance. I originally hired her for my wedding and thorough the process I realized how much confidence her workouts and strength training had given me. I love her flexibility and availability! The workouts fly by, they are fun and challenging every single time! Maggie has been so great and I am excited to continue getting stronger with her, both physically and mentally!" -Megan Smith
